Why won’t the pump start?
Trace demand, permissives, the 24 V output and contactor feedback. Test stopping and restarting.
Trace request → permissives → Q0.0 → KM1 → I0.4. An output of 1 does not prove closure. Missing feedback for 2 s latches an alarm.

Principle, assumptions and limits
Deterministic run-latch logic with stop priority and a latched alarm. Fields describe simulated physical states, without input forcing or bypasses. Every permissive drops the output and clears the request. Restoring or acknowledging never generates a start. Q0.0 ideally applies 24 V at A1–A2; KM1 closes if its mechanism works. I0.4 is an auxiliary contact, not a flow sensor. Missing feedback for 2 s stops and latches an alarm. Time advances only with the button. Motor operation and stopping are instantaneous in this logic module; no stop category, certified safety architecture or vendor PLC emulation.
